Initial consultation

In initial consultations, we determine the actual digitalisation requirements. By asking specific questions about the status quo, the planned processes and all the general conditions, we work with our customer's contact persons to identify the requirements. It is not uncommon for issues that need to be considered further to arise during this initial consultation.

The initial consultation and the digitalisation solution outlined therein form the basis for an initial, non-binding cost estimate.

Workshop

In order to arrive at a more detailed description of requirements and thus a more accurate cost estimation, we conduct a one-day workshop with our customers. The workshop is attended by our contact person, a technician and the customer's employees who are directly affected by the digitalisation process. After all, they are the ones who know the processes best and understand the background to the existing structures.

Following the workshop, a comprehensive description of requirements and a detailed quote for implementation will be provided.

Selection of technology

Our approach involves the integration of standard technologies with open-source tools and hardware solutions. If required, we are able to design customised individual hardware and software solutions. Our customers are granted constant access to all design documents, the complete source code and all other essential information. In addition to this, all components are selected so that they are available in the long term, easily replaceable if necessary, durable and in accordance with the specified standard.

Development of customised solutions

Each production process is unique, characterised by growth and specialisation. This means that digitalisation in production is also unique. We take this into account and develop tailor-made solutions with exactly the components that provide our customers with the best possible support. We integrate advanced technologies including large language models and private cloud hosting to guarantee that our solutions are not only efficient but also secure.

Agile development

Our team-oriented approach and cooperative partnerships with our customers enable us to provide individually tailored solutions. Agile development methods and regular coordination with our customers ensure the implementation of systems based on customer needs.

Weekly or fortnightly jour fixe meetings between project management and, if necessary, other project participants ensure the flow of communication and enable early clarification of questions and problems as well as control of development in terms of time and content.

Ongoing logging in the ticket system

We provide a ticket system to map the specifications. Alternatively, we also work with our customers' ticket systems. Shared access allows everyone involved to add information to tickets, post comments, and set statuses and responsibilities. Every change to a ticket is logged, providing a clear overview of the basis for the implementation carried out during the course of the project.

Digital product passport

As a key element of the European circular economy strategy, information must be collected, stored and made digitally readable along a product's value chain. This should make specific information such as carbon footprint or reparability available and enable customers to make better-informed purchasing decisions.

We provide support in the planning and implementation of IT processes to enable the required information for the digital product passport to be provided and processed in an automated and traceable manner.

NIS-2

The Network and Information Security Directive (NIS-2) aims to strengthen the level of cyber resilience in the European Union. Depending on the industry and the size of the company, manufacturing companies may be classified as essential and thus directly affected. However, smaller companies must also indirectly meet the security level of NIS-2 in order to comply with the requirements of their customers as suppliers.

Our digital solutions are designed to meet all security and resilience requirements and supporting processes that are relevant to NIS-2.

Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)

Cybersecurity in hardware and software products is becoming the focus of regulations and must be taken into account from design to manufacture and marketing. With our expertise, we ensure that all digital processes and procedures comply with the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act.
